This project is called STARS OF THE BICENTENNIAL produced by "The Mates" for the largest speaking spanish TV network of world to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the founding of Mexico as Country. The dream and the challenge is to transmit through images that can be perceived not only natural beauty and biodiversity, but the soul, spirit, feelings and pride of México.

During the year 2010, Mexico celebrates both the 200th anniversary of its Independence and 100th anniversary of its Revolution. The entire year has been proclaimed by President Felipe Calderón as "Año de la Patria," or "Year of the Nation."

15 September 1810 is the day of the "Grito de Dolores" or Miguel Hidalgo's call to take up arms against Spanish colonial government. The start of the Mexican Revolution is celebrated 20 November 1910, when Francisco "Pancho" Villa and Pascual Orozco led the first insurrectionist attack.
